Once again, I stumbled upon something by accident that I can use regularly to improve efficiency. And it, my friends, is the “caffeine nap” (also referred to as the “coffee nap”).
For those of you who love both naps and caffeine, I know you’re already pretty excited about this…and you should be.
Basically, you quickly drink a serving of coffee or your favorite caffeine drink and then go to sleep…for approximately 20 minutes. You wake up refreshed and ready to keep going!
I’ve achieved similar results by accident, taking caffeine in my last ditch efforts to stay awake and then falling asleep anyway because I was so tired…but noticing how awesome I felt when I woke up. I always wondered if I could do it on purpose, but I stay so busy being busy and generally inefficient in my business that I forgot to investigate the issue. Well, it turns out that my hunch was correct, and this method of napping may be effective for you as you look to increase productivity in your day!
The following video explains how the caffeine nap works and even provides scientific explanation and clinical research for all you nerds who only try something if it’s been studied and proven.
So enjoy today’s video – I’m off to nap for about 20 minutes 😉
